Our Story: La Best Poutine Ever!
How It All Started
It began with a nickname and a dream. In 2019, we launched Coco Resto Eau, a small food trailer inspired by founder Mathieu Leclair's dad, nicknamed "Coco." We served hot, cheesy poutine made fresh on the spot, and people lined up for it.
Word spread. Cravings grew.
The Rise of La Best Poutine Ever
Soon after, we opened a full restaurant. With over 15 poutine styles, our little shop became a local hit. People kept saying, “This is the best poutine ever!”—so the name stuck.
That’s how La Best Poutine Ever was born.
From Restaurant to Retail
In 2023, things changed. Due to rising costs, we had to close our restaurant. But our customers still wanted our famous gravy, So, we decided to sell it in bags. Same recipe. Same flavor. Just easier to enjoy at home.
This was a new start for us.
From Gravy to Greatness
Today, La Best Poutine Ever is in 50+ stores across Canada—and counting. We are proud of our journey. We’ve kept the soul of our restaurant alive in every bag. We went from a small trailer to a nationwide brand. Our goal is to bring great poutine to everyone.
